Hi Max. I’m not planning any other languages — my high school Latin doesn’t seem like a major contribution unless someone in the Vatican has an anthro blog — but Paul or Daniel might have another one up their sleeves. I think we’ve pretty much maxed out; next year maybe I’ll be able to add Maori.

Me parece una buena idea anunciarlo también en español, aunque no sé a cuanta gente le llegará.

Desgraciadamente los blogs de antropología en castellano no abundan, y la calidad promedio está muy por debajo de los anglófonos. Un estudio encargado por Google a Pyramid research muestra que una abrumadora mayoría de usuarios de Internet argentinos solo utiliza webmail y mensajería instantánea, con un uso marginal de cualquier tipo de software de redes sociales. Así las cosas no es de extrañar que la Wikipedia en castellano sea ridículamente pequeña (menos artículos que su versión holandesa y polaca!) y que la blogosfera hispanoparlante se encuentre tan subdesarrollada.

Go for posting all the languages we’ve gotten to so far! It does look like this thing will be a pressure cooker. The submissions are already coming in at a fairly steady pace.
