One small note from dancer regarding the first footnote:  dancers call those small gestures that are symbols of a full out performance &quot;marking,&quot; not &quot;blocking.&quot;  Blocking refers to spatial organization on the stage - the relationship of performers to each other and to the performance space as a whole.  Marking is more about the movements themselves.  It&#039;s beside the point regarding the article, but I thought you&#039;d like to know!]]></description>
