		<description><![CDATA[Fascinating post, Daniel.  Although I saw the piece on optical illusions, I missed a couple of other fascinating ones that you draw attention.  I&#039;m going to have to look up the original article on the complexity of synapses and the evolutionary precursors to neurotransmitters in yeast after reading your discussion of the piece.  In addition, the piece on swallows&#039; coloration and androgen levels is another great piece in the argument against hormonal determinism.  Thanks for providing such a comprehensive review!
