Thanks Max Forte, I'm glad you got introduced to Four Stone Hearth. Both Daniel and I really like the institution -- it does seem to bring together a quirky bunch of material, much like our discipline, anthropology -- and thought that it would be great to introduce our readers to the breadth of current research in anthro. Sometimes, folks wonder why we're anthropologists (and not doing something like psychology or cognitive science); something like Four Stone Hearth sure makes it easy to explain, especially when there's such great research going on around the world.

We look forward to hosting the FSH party again in the future. Greg.
