Hmmm... So, the argument is that a chemical enhancement will cause some sort of performance standard or as sub mentioned; the older argument of 'cheating' or an unfair advantage. Might I suggest that vitamins do the same, or genetic disposition... or sex (males are invariably stronger, in many manners, than females.)

I do not agree that performance anhancers are 'wrong' as I do not believe that anything that doesn't hurt another life is 'wrong'. I align this theory with the fact of suicide. How is taking ones own life, wrong?

The argument set however, does not negate the fact - that a human on enhancers, can run faster than a human on good ol' genes. I still find that production of the human body -- impressive.

Just thinking, I am of no knowledgable charactor in regards to this topic.

Holy THX-1138! -- the point about the fast-paced surgery sans doping is a good one, because, as Lucas pointed out 40 years ago, how long until the Supervisory Board demands your pharms, with penalties for those who dare show up for work with clean urine?

Seeing the encroaching computer-assisted music rushing towards them, jazz composer Sun Ra told his band members that if what they do can be done better by the machines, they would all be out of work. Perhaps what we'll learn from this new Brave New World is that if what you can THINK can be thought better by a dope-head, its a good sign you're not really thinking!
